Tea Blends

Karak Chai – Leone Karak Chai Tea

Ingredients (1 cup)

  • Water – ¾ cup
  • Milk – ¾ cup
  • Leone Karak Chai – 1½ tsp
  • Sugar – to taste

Method

  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Add Leone Karak Chai Tea and boil on
  3. medium heat for 2–3
    minutes.
  4. Add milk and sugar.
  5. Boil again for 3–4 minutes until the tea becomes strong and creamy.
  6. Strain and serve hot.

Peach Iced Tea (Cafeteria Style)

Ingredients

  • Water – 1 cup
  • Leone Black Loose Tea or Tea Bag – 1 bag or 1 tsp
  • Peach syrup or fresh peach pulp – 2 tbsp
  • Ice cubes

Method

  1. Brew tea for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bag or strain.
  3. Add peach syrup and stir.
  4. Cool and serve over ice.

Saffron Tea – Using Leone loose Black Tea

Ingredients (1 cup)

  • Water – 1 cup
  • Leone Black Tea (tea bag or loose tea) – 1 bag or 1 tsp
  • Saffron strands – 6–8 strands
  • Sugar or honey – to taste
  • Milk (optional) – 2–3 tbsp

Method 

  1. Boil water with saffron strands for 1 minute.
  2. Add Leone tea and brew for 1–2 minutes.
  3. Add milk and sugar.
    Boil gently for another 1–2 minutes.
  4. Strain and serve hot.

South Indian Style Samovar Tea – Leone Tea

Ingredients

  • Water – 2 cups
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Leone Tea – 2 tsp
  • Sugar – to taste

Method

  1. Boil water in the samovar and add the tea. Let it brew till strong.
  2. Strain into the samovar’s serving section, add hot milk and sugar.
  3. Keep it hot in the samovar and serve fresh.

Iced Lemon Black Tea (Leone)

Ingredients (1 serving)

  • Water – 1 cup
  • Leone Black Tea Bag / Loose Tea – 1 bag or 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1–2 tsp
  • Sugar or honey – to taste
  • Ice cubes

Method

  1. Brew tea in hot water for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bag or strain loose tea.
  3. Add sugar while hot and stir.
  4. Let it cool.
  5. Add lemon juice and ice.
  6. Serve chilled.

Honey Ginger Refreshing Tea

Ingredients

  • Water – 1 cup
  • Leone Black Tea Bag / Loose Tea – 1 bag or 1 tsp
  • Fresh ginger slices – 3–4
  • Honey – 1–2 tsp

Method

  1. Boil water with ginger.
  2. Add tea and brew for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bag or strain.
  4. Add honey and serve warm or chilled.

Orange Black Tea

Ingredients

  • Water – 1 cup
  • Leone Black Tea Bag / Loose Tea – 1 bag or 1 tsp
  • Fresh orange juice – 2–3 tbsp
  • Sugar or honey – to taste
  • Ice (optional)

Method

  1. Brew tea and strain/remove tea bag.
  2. Let it cool slightly.
  3. Add orange juice and sweetener.
  4. Serve hot or with ice.

Masala Tea

Ingredients

  • Leone Black Loose Tea
  • Milk
  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Spices:
  • Cardamom
  • Ginger
  • Cloves
  • Cinnamon
  • Black pepper (optional)

Method

  1. Boil water with crushed ginger, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon.
    Add Leone Black Loose Tea and let it brew till strong.
  2. Pour in milk and sugar, boil once more.
  3. Strain and serve hot.
